Ah, web design. That exquisite torture. I do both love and hate it, the former always at the beginning and the latter always at the end. I do believe at this moment that I am teetering between the two.
I’m excited about the plans I have for my site, and for this blog. I aim to inspire - always. And in that vein this blog will be a home for my tutorials, walk-throughs, links to inspirational/beautiful/thought provoking things, etc. A studio blog, I suppose you could say.
I am ever intrigued by other artists spaces and environments, so I’m going to share a bit of mine here too.
I guess I’m a bit of an aesthete, and nothing pleases me more than knowing I can inspire another to create beauty, instead of only enjoying it when it lands at our feet.
A little oasis of joy this morning - a pot of roobois chai tea, freshly cut jasmine in cobalt blue glass, a candle in a lotus flower holder.
Purely for the joy of the sweet heady scent, the glinting colours of cobalt and back-lit teal, and the comfort of a steamy cup of tea held close against a grey and cloudy day.
